I've decided to head out on my own today... just spend some time on my own.
I'm going over to the North Shore... I have to pick up a Trademe purchase after lunch. So, I shall visit Cushla's in Devonport and have a wander around Albany mall too.
I'm going to take some fruit and cheese with me so I don't feel tempted to buy anything I don't need. Forward thinking... making plans so I don't slip up.
I need to learn to do this more.
I will sit down by the water front and have a diet coke for me Mum too... it's her Birthday today. Happy Birthday Mum. Love ya.
And that's about all I have for the day. I might post some more while I'm out.
Well... I've had an interesting few hours out and about.
I got me new boots, checked out fabric shops and bought NO fabric!, then picked up my Trademe purchase.
Then I got a phone call to say the bar stools we have been waiting 2 and a half months for had arrived.
So I drove over to Sylvia Park to pick them up.
ONLY... just OUR LUCK... two of them had wooden seats with 3-4 glued joins in them, so I wasn't taking them, and the 3rd one had a massive wobble!
So, I came home, picked up the ONE bar stool we did have and took it back. I got a full refund.
I'm wondering now if I can even be bothered looking for more. Probably will ... but not right now. I'm over bar stools! And just a bit CRABBY about the whole deal.
On a prettier note, this was a wall in the Albany mall car park:
ABOVE: how pretty is that? Most of the walls were covered in that vine, but this one was the best. True autumn (fall) colours.
Whoops! Forgot to update all afternoon/evening!
Ya didn't miss much.
It's been quiet. Very quiet. Baby is doing well, Dante is not worried about the baby getting attention over him, Brylee and Griffin are doing well and so on.
Dinner tonight was takeaways, I had some scallops and chips. Shall make sure my points are spot on from now till weigh in next week and all shall be fine.
I know how it works. *smiles*
End of Day: a nice day really. I wore my new boots all day without one single niggle/rub/blister, so am rapt with them.
